Reporting to: Regional Regulatory Compliance Manager
Department: Compliance
The Department:
The Compliance department is responsible for identifying the risks that we face and provide advice on them. We design and implement controls to protect the business from those risks and monitor and report on the effectiveness of the controls in the management of our exposure to risks. We resolve compliance difficulties as they occur and advise the business on licensing regulations, rules and controls where necessary.

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to provide proactive, administrative and commercially aware compliance advice and services to the business. You will be involved in assisting the Regional Regulatory Compliance Manager and the Regulatory Compliance Managers in all day-to-day duties concerning the regulated market(s) assigned to you for assistance and general business requirements, including ensuring that Betway meets its reporting obligations.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing a solid knowledge base of legislation, regulations and technical documents- Assisting with ensuring Betway is compliant with applicable regulations by providing the business with advice and support- Ensuring internal procedures are documented and compliant- Carrying out a programme of monitoring for compliance risks- Assisting with the compilation, maintenance and submission reports, returns and notifications as required to meet the expectations of regulators- Assisting with management and oversight of the Betway website- Supervision and management of change controls- Liaising and maintaining close working relationships with third party companies involved in the operations of the business’s licenses- Assisting in ad hoc duties as and when required

You will have (Essential skills):
- Exceptional Spanish language skills - both written and verbal- Organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks- Proactivity in resolving issues- Attention to detail & accuracy- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion- Ability to think out of the box, investigate and resolve problems efficiently- High level of MS Office skills- All behavioural competencies are also essential_
It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):
- Understanding of the Spanish, Mexican and/or Argentinean gambling market- Knowledge of or experience in the online gambling industry- Experience in gambling regulatory compliance- A second European language, would be advantageous- Experience of working in a process driven environment
