**Description Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Product Vision**: Define and communicate the product vision to the development team and stakeholders.

**Requirements Gathering**: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.

**Backlog Mgmt & Prioritization**: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and user feedback.

**User Stories**: Create clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria for development.

**Team Collaboration**: Work closely with development teams, providing guidance and clarifications on product requirements.

**Release Planning**: Participate in release planning and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

**Testing and Validation**: Review and accept/reject deliverables based on adherence to acceptance criteria.

**Feedback Integration**: Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders into the product development process.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Years of Experience**:
Bachelors degree in business, technology, or related field with 2-3 years of work experience as a Product Owner.

**Required and Desired Skills/Certifications**:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
PO Certification preferred.
Jira knowledge (ipdate stories, flesh out new functional stories, run through backlog for stand up if needed to cover, be able to know how to navigate Jira - not generating Jira reports or stats ect.)
Ability to research and analyze, document requirements/user acceptance criteria within stories.
Ability to refine exsisting stories that need addtional information for the team to be able to start work.
Ability to flesh out requirement infomration and acceptance criteria from a shell of story that was a placeholder.
Ability to chase infomartion needed for the team to proceed if hey hit a roadblock on a story and need more info or clarity.
Ability to step in and run a stand up if the PO is out.
Ability to backup the PO if needed (if out unexpectly or needs help on something).
Ability to create quailty documentation, diagram folws if needed (think Lucid Chart or Miro Board or Visio).
Not really data analyst needs or data digging, data structure or anthing like that.
Good strong BA skills. No super senior as the PO is rocksolid/super strong in the spave but a solid BA.
