**Position Latam Crop Science Data Lead**

We are a global data science team delivering predictive, prescriptive and cognitive solutions on the agriculture industry, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary data scientists, data engineers and business areas, to solve critical problems and answer important questions to drive key business decisions.

**YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**:

- Responsible for representing and managing **data **practice in Bayer CS LATAM
- **Work across business lines and functional teams **to enable enterprise data strategic programs and support regional needs
- **Data practice and portfolio**:

- Representing global data team and practice in the region, **enabling the communication between LATAM CS businesses and data practice**, **ensuring timely delivery and adoption of strategic programs,** as well as managing/delivering a strategic set of regional initiatives
- Contribute to **define the global use cases **that support regional business objectives and strategies and ensure data products and roadmaps are aligned to deliver the necessary response to the region
- Collaborate and partnering with other regional data leads on **aligning the requirements for global solutions**
- Keep the regional business running **managing the regional data solutions along its life cycle**
- Lead the **regional participation on the global solutions **design / development and implementation efforts
- Contribute to **identify new kinds, types and sources of data **to drive business innovation across the company
- Manage the **data integration enablers **efforts across the legacies, to reach the target state
- **Data architecture**:

- Leverage global solutions for data integration, data assets and visualization and **enable the decommission of the technical debt **on data architecture space
- Communicate the regional data platforms capabilities and needs to properly keep the adoption of **global target architecture state**
- **Data team and financials**:

- Lead a **regional multi-functional and multi-business data team **and be responsible **for building, develop and retaining an effective team and talent pipeline**, considering the context from different countries across the region
- Manage **budget, cost and regional vendors**

**ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?**
- Robust years of relevant technical and strategic experience delivering digital Solution
- Consolidated years of leading teams with direct report line across different countries
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English is a must
- Fluent Portuguese or Spanish
- Has demonstrated critical domain knowledge on data space and LATAM Agriculture businesses that provides insight and authority to working groups
- Experience coordinating multiple programs across different functional organizations, and allocating resources to insure continual engagement and evangelism of new features, services and models
- Experience on representing the region on global forums and enable global initiatives within the region
