Remitee, rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments is seeking a **Legal Specialist**

As a Legal Specialist at Remitee, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the legal health and efficiency of our growing company, to support our mission of transforming the financial lives of millions of people.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnerships.
- Contract Template Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of contract templates to ensure consistency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Terms and Conditions: Draft, update, and maintain terms and conditions for various company products and services.
- Tenders: Participation in private bids, analysis of bidding documents and preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Corporate Governance: Provide legal support for corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder meetings, and compliance with corporate bylaws.
- Data Privacy: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations along Latam. Legal Research: Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues as needed.

**What We're Looking For**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Strong understanding of corporate law and contract law (knowledge in data privacy law is a plus)
- Excellent legal research and writing skills. Ability to analyze complex legal structures and provide practical solutions.
- Ease in the interpretation of laws and regulations.
- Experience in Legal Team within financial, banking, and/or fintech companies.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proactive attitude and initiative to respond to company and team needs, contributing ideas and improvement proposals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, supporting various areas of the company.
