**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as counsel to international commercial business unit
- Provide commercial legal support to Energizer’s commercial organization, with a focus on distributor or affiliate business commercial teams
- Structure, draft, negotiate and review various commercial contracts
- Initiate and manage projects to drive efficiency and reduce cycle time in commercial transactions
- Consult with senior leaders to provide advice on transactional risks and drive business solutions
- Advise on various day-to-day matters facing a global commercial team

**What we are looking for**:

- Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited institution or international equivalent
- Licensed to practice law in applicant’s jurisdiction
- Minimum of five years’ experience with focus on commercial law (including experience advising on go-to-market strategies, such as retail, agency, and distribution)
- Experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements and developing solutions to mitigate risk
- Knowledgeable about global anticompetition laws
- Experience advising global clients
- Proactive and strategic thinker
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with English fluency
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a matrix management structure
- Ability to build positive relationships with senior management and other members of the legal team and to influence outcomes positively
