**Location - Buenos Aires, Argentina**

**Your role within the team**:
The qualified individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Perform conceptual and detail design engineering work on fuel handling mechanical equipment and systems, and/or process related D2O, oil hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Prepare design documentation, such as design requirements, design descriptions, design specifications, technical specifications, component specifications, test procedures and plans, commissioning procedures, registration design submissions packages, flow sheets, detail drawings, general arrangements, and equipment layouts.
- Perform activities related to fuelling machine design, and in support of manufacturing, assembly, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and process controls systems.
- Lead and participate in technical, conceptual and detail design meetings in front of peers, clients and suppliers.
- Provide technical guidance to drafting staff as well as mentoring and oversight of junior engineers.
- Provide engineering support to quality surveillance, manufacturing, assembly and testing with non-conformances.
- Work in accordance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, client and company procedures.
- Provide consultation and/or review and approval of engineering quotation request packages and purchase requisitions.

- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited University.
- 1, 3, 5, or 10 years of relevant experience designing mechanical equipment for licensed nuclear facilities, preferably related to fuel handling and the fueling machine, corresponding to Junior, Intermediate, and Senior-level positions, respectively.
- Field experience at a licensed nuclear generating station is an asset.
- Understanding of machine mechanics, mechanics of materials, material selection and fundamentals of machine component design.
- Knowledge of boiler, pressure vessel, and pressure piping (CSA N285, ASME Section III, ASME Section VIII, CSA B51) codes and standards is an asset.
- Presentation skills and public speaking abilities is an asset.
- CAD experience in Solid Edge or Solid Works is an asset.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
