**Location - Buenos Aires, Argentina**

**Your role within the team**:
The qualified individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Lead a team to complete the design analysis of CANDU reactor components, systems and structures including Mechanical equipment.
- Engineering calculations to support design nuclear pressure boundary components.
- Preparation of formal technical reports.
- Review of design documents, calculations, and analysis reports.
- Prepare engineering budgets and support proposal preparation.
- Execute engineering activities within budget and schedule.
- Provide accurate reporting of engineering work to technical and project managers.
- Provide prompt response and engineering resolutions on any critical engineering related matters.
- Perform engineering work following AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy Quality Assurance programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulation requirements.
- Coordinate and interface with client, suppliers, stakeholders and other design disciplines or department to execute assigned engineering work.

- A Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from a university of recognized standing.
- 5+ or 10+ years of relevant experience in the design and analysis of complex mechanical systems or equipment, aligning with Intermediate, and Senior-level positions, respectively. Experience with CANDU reactor systems is an asset, particularly in the areas of fuel channel and Calandria Vessel design, and Fueling Machine design. A strong working knowledge of CANDU design principles will be considered a significant asset.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in the interpretation of GD&T is preferred.
- Drive for continuous learning by own initiative.
- Experience in classical stress calculation.
- Experience in finite element analysis using ANSYS/LS-DYNA/ABAQUS.
- Familiarity with ASME Section III pressure boundary design and CSA N285.0 is an asset.
- Good time management skills.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
