We started by building an app to make saving and investing in cryptocurrencies easy and fast, and we became one of the leading platforms in the region. With a presence in Argentina, Peru, and Colombia, we are looking to expand regionally and into a variety of investment assets (stocks, bonds, ETFs, and more).
The role
As Buenbit’s Backend Engineer, you must be an inquisitive, curious, and passionate coder. You are an expert in building backend architectures and services, with a strong orientation to code quality. You're willing to solve problems in “a better way” and eager to build awesome products in an environment that enhances learning, creativity, and teamwork.
**What you’ll do**: Design and build new products and features in Buenbit’s platform Architect and develop secure, high quality and scalable backend services in a cloud computing platform Focus on impact, working closely with product, designers, and other engineers to build great solutions for our customers Promote a growth mindset, challenging yourself and those around you to improve continuously Deliver with a sense of ownership; you solve problems end-to-end rather than simply shipping a solution Embrace quality first, write clean and reusable code following the best quality practices and standards in the software industry

**Requisitos**:
**What you’ve done**: Deep knowledge and understanding of Java, Python, Ruby, or some other backend language Hands-on experience building web services and REST APIs Have strong CS fundamentals, object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures Proficiency in frameworks such as Django, Spring or Rails, and SQL/NoSQL databases Experience building software with quality (unit testing, TDD, linting, etc) Familiar working with your terminal, git, and GitHub Experience working with distributed systems architectures
**Nice to have**: Cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure Functional programming
