Join Globant and participate in great projects We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer Senior+ specializing in Azure to be a part of our innovative and dynamic environment in Argentina.

**Role Overview**:
As a Data Engineer Senior+ with a focus on Azure, you will collaborate with our client's IT department to provide leadership, vision, and direction in implementing the correct data engineering techniques to meet corporate data requirements. You will engage closely with other team members to consult, advise, and lead technical activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and infrastructure on Azure.
- Optimize and manage large-scale data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Develop high-performance data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security while maintaining compliance with enterprise standards.
- Analyze and resolve complex data engineering issues and recommend improvements.
- Lead data migration and transformation efforts to support cloud adoption strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior data engineers and promote best practices in data engineering within the team.

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud platforms.
- Profound knowledge of Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages for data processing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience with other cloud service providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of data security, data governance, and privacy best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

**Language Requirements**:
Upper-Intermediate (B2) proficiency in English or better. Effective communication with coordinators will be conducted in English, making proficiency at these levels a must.

**Work Mode**:
This position offers the flexibility of remote work from anywhere in Argentina
