**Senior Data Engineer (Remote - LATAM)**:
**Location**: Remote from Latin America
**Schedule**: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EDT
**Salary**: $4,500 USD/month

We're searching for a **Senior Data Engineer** who is not only highly skilled but also eager to push boundaries and drive impactful data solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable **data pipelines** using **Databricks**, **Azure Data Factory**, and **Snowflake**:

- Improve **data ingestion**, transformation, and integration workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals
- Create **analytics dashboards and visualizations** using **Power BI**:

- Continuously optimize existing infrastructure, identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Monitor system performance using **Azure Monitor** and **App Insights**:

- Handle complex data challenges with mínimal oversight and proactive solutions

**Must-Have Qualifications**:

- 7+ years of hands-on **Data Engineering experience**:

- Advanced proficiency in **Databricks**, **Spark**, **Python**, **SQL Server**:

- Experience with **relational databases** (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), including stored procedures and SSIS packages
- Background in **API-based ingestion**, **streaming methods**, and **BigQuery**:

- Proficient in data telemetry tools (e.g., **Azure Monitor**, **App Insights**)
- Strong understanding of **data modeling**, **data warehousing**, and **ETL/ELT workflows**

**Preferred (Bonus) Skills**:

- Experience with **Snowflake**, **Azure Data Factory**, and **Power BI**:

- Familiarity with **Agile/SCRUM methodologies**, **data lakes**, and **governance frameworks**:

- Prior exposure to **machine learning pipelines** is a plus
