**About You**

We are rapidly expanding and looking to hire talented and ambitious data operation analytical talent. You will be responsible for both operational and analysis work on platform data. You have experience with relational data analysis and have a passion for paying attention to every data point. You will interpret file-mapping and conduct testing that relates to mission critical projects and objectives. You will need to be able to understand how the business uses data quickly. Most critically, you will ensure data integrity throughout systems and prior to EOM Advisor commission cycles.

**What you'll do and how you'll have an impact**
- Ownership and accountability of advisor data, specifically EOM commission cycles.
- Facilitate data governance throughout AppSmart as it related to Advisors, Providers, and Commissions attributes.
- Provide data analysis, mapping, transformation, normalization, and conversion
- Establish regularly scheduled audits and variance reporting via system automation and process to analyze all data before externally visible (commissions, payments, statements, rates, BANs, etc)
- Assist AppSmart Product Managers to operationalize data architecture roadmap (analyze/document/implement/test/troubleshoot)
- Eliminate manual processes in favor of automation (Statements, Payments, audits, variance identification, etc.)
- Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements
- Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis focusing on quality and data management.
- Integrating new systems, data and processes (M&A data) with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data provided meet the structure, quality and detail level of AppSmart systems.
- Actively evaluates and contributes ideas for areas of improvement in current procedures and works collaboratively within the team and cross functionally to implement the changes
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities
- Ensure ongoing understanding of relevant and emerging technologies and services provided by AppSmart.

**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or related field
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar IIBA Certification desirable but not required.
- Industry experience in the billing, commission, SaaS or telecommunications highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data operations and analysis
- Experience with relational data architecture
- Experience with data analysis, ETL, normalization, and conversion
- Strong understanding of SQL coding
- More than just Pivots Advanced GSheets/Excel skill and efficiency required
- Knowledge of BI platforms such as Domo (preferred), Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
- Some knowledge of Data Warehousing platforms such as Redshift, Azure, or others
- Experience communicating to a diverse stakeholder base, bridging the business and technical teams. You must be able to gather, analyze and synthesize business context from Senior leadership to drive into the technical details with developers and data engineers.
- Able to connect the dots between business needs and the data structures necessary to build visualizations which can tell a compelling story and deliver insights.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills with a track record of developing, analyzing and leveraging KPIs which assist with decision making.
- Working knowledge of project Management methodologies nice to have.
- Demonstrated experience in use case and business process modeling.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and documenting business requirements.
- Excellent soft skills and a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Strong facilitation skills.
- You are adaptable and have a proven ability to support multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Self-starter, able to navigate and prioritize multiple complex tasks with minimum supervision.
