**Position Summary**:

- Note: “Wintel based” refer to Windows Server Operating Systems interchangeably._
- This role will be responsible for the Monitoring and day to day support of all Wintel based Servers within the client environment, performing troubleshooting and resolving incidents.
- Work with 3rd party vendors, subcontractors and support teams to effectively support the environment and achieve SLAs.
- Maintain service availability
- Create and maintain relevant server support documentation.
- Provide input into change control, project planning and BC/DR activities.
- Perform general Wintel and VMware support duties and schedule maintenance tasks as required.
- Adhere to change control - create and implement changes as required to maintain the environment and ensure stability of the Windows Server environment and relevant supported services.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Support (Identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents) all Windows Server operating systems:

- Support (Identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents) related to Server hardware, ILO, Firmware and monitoring integration (Zabbix / WBEM / SNMP).
- Provide support and work with 3rd party vendors, subcontractors and support teams in order to achieve SLAs.
- Create and Maintain relevant documentation
- Coordinate activities of subcontractors and 3rd party vendors as required.
- Ensure all projects and activities are executed to a high standard and within required timelines
- Performing reasonable requests from management as required to effectively support the assigned client.
- Incident, Change, Problem and Service request Management
- Perform scheduled patch management Tasks and troubleshoot, resolve related issue/incidents.
- Project Managers/BDM will communicate and coordinate with Wintel team for all the project related tasks/change/requests/approvals

**PowerShell Support Coverage includes**
- Preparing PowerShell scripts and testing them on the Sabre test and prod environment.
- Deploying PowerShell scripts successfully as per the requirements
- Assist Onshore US team with advance PowerShell script support
- Work independently on the requirements for automation through PowerShell scripting
- Automate tasks using PowerShell scripts within required timelines under DXC Project automation team leads supervision

**VMware Support includes**
- VCenter support. (Incident/Change/Service Request/Migration/Build)
- Coordination with all vendors (virtualization - VMware Vphere (ESXi, VCenter), Cisco 1000v, VM OS vendors (Microsoft, Red Hat), (DXC TECHNOLOGY hardware) and other vendors as needed.
- VM Moves/ maintenance/ VM Tool alert fix

**AD Coverage Support**
- Removal of all unwanted user accounts from all three AIP domain
- Removal of disabled computer accounts from AIP domains
- Consolidation of Admin groups and removal of unwanted user accounts after risk assessment
- Restructure AD to make the domains more secure
- Installation of terminal server in all three domains
- Daily monitoring AD replication in Aip Int, Aip Cert, Aip Domain, OOB Mgmt and Global Domain
- Handling account lock out incidents
- User account management in Aip Int, Aip Cert, Aip Domain, OOB Mgmt and Global Domain
- Creation of DL’s under SR
