**JOB DESCRIPTION**
This is a great opportunity to focus on the supporting the Data Privacy team on the strategic delivery and ongoing management of the data privacy program.
This program is to ensure strategic development of the data privacy program aligned to the data risk management delivery, and wider firm wide program and toolset development, advising on strategic direction, providing transparency as well as challenges to ensure robust internal and regulatory compliance.
**Job responsibilities**:
- Manage Data Privacy incidents by assessing events in accordance to the Firm Standards.
- Focus on evaluating and performing an end-to-end analysis of the business’ risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses and determine root cause of Data Privacy incidents.
- Assist with the governance over data privacy within the Corporate & Investment Banking, including supporting the strategy and execution of Privacy Regulation and Privacy Policies.
- Assist on Privacy Programs (such as Policy implementation and regulatory changes) for your business including the Privacy Inventory.
**Required qualifications, skills and capabilities**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required and data analytics preferred using Excel, Access
- Communication/presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner
- Networking - strong interpersonal skills; strong collaboration and relationship building skills
- Work autonomously to affect change - flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities; manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
- Problem solving / Analytical skills - solid critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills; able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions for different audiences.
