**An excellent education establishment is looking to recruit Specialist Trainer Assessor in Pipefitting, to work on a full-time, permanent basis..**

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**

Joining the team as a Engineering Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high quality training to young learners, apprentices, and corporate clients. In your new role, your duties will include:

- To oversee the quality and development of the pipework and mechanical fitting programmes, identifying areas for improvement and action, where applicable
- To complete progress reviews with learners
- To develop and take responsibility for the delivery of individual training plans tailored to learner needs
- To develop and undertake learner assessments in the workplace and at college and maintain appropriate records
- To develop and deliver training using approved training resources primarily onsite however the ability to deliver off-site is essential
- To liaise with employer representatives to co-ordinate information and activities

**Salary & Benefits**
- The salary range is £32,000 to £40,000 (dependant on qualifications & experience)
- Paid holiday entitlement 28 working days, plus bank holidays (plus 2-week closure over Christmas)
- Member of Local Government Pension Scheme

- Level 3 Engineering Qualification
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Teaching or Assessor/verifier qualifications would also be **advantageous but not essential**

**Desirable** requirements**:

- NVQ/QCF Assessor qualification
- Teaching qualification
- Experience of working in a learning environment
- Good understanding of apprenticeship frameworks
