**The Work You'll Do**:
As a **Compliance Services Associate** at Sovos, you'll serve as a trusted extension of our clients' tax compliance teams, delivering critical services that keep businesses compliant with complex regulatory requirements. You'll work directly with clients using our comprehensive tax software solutions while ensuring accuracy and adherence to all applicable regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- More specifically, you will:_
- Deliver comprehensive tax compliance services to Managed Services clients using Sovos' Tax Information Reporting (1099), Affordable Care Act, Sales and Use Tax Reporting, FATCA, Unclaimed Property, and Certificate Management software platforms
- Ensure regulatory compliance with IRS, state, and local government requirements while managing tax deadlines, performing data imports and reconciliation, and adhering to client-specified procedures
- Interact directly with clients for service delivery and issue resolution, providing exceptional customer service while supporting Compliance Services Representatives with research and reconciliation tasks
- Proactively identify process improvements and participate in internal efficiency projects while resolving complex compliance issues as directed by supervisors
- Maintain high accuracy standards and work independently in a fast-paced environment while performing special projects and additional duties as assigned

**What We Need From You**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience with strong Microsoft Excel skills and basic computer software knowledge
- Ability to learn quickly and become an expert on Sovos software and services with strong customer service skills focused on listening and documenting client needs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, with detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently
- Previous client support or service experience preferred, along with ability to interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers
- Capability to comprehend complex concepts, concentrate on problem-solving, and utilize various technology systems to fulfill work requirements
