**Compliance Services Associate**

Department: Compliance Services

Location: SHIP - MSP

**Position Overview**:
The Compliance Services Associate is responsible for delivering tax filing services to clients in the beverage & alcohol industry. As a trusted resource and extension of our client’s tax compliance environment, this role performs tasks such as filing and paying state returns, management of regulatory tax deadlines, and provides problem resolution to complex problems.

Job Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve client issues; coordinate appropriate internal departments to provide timely response and solutions.
- Maintain goals and key measures to ensure progress and alignment with desired business outcomes for clients
- Ensure compliance with applicable taxing authorities (IRS, State and Local Governments) and client-specified procedures by adhering to internal policies and procedures.
- Identify process improvements and offer suggestions to build internal efficiencies and reduce risk and lead internal process improvement projects.
- Manage the flow of day-to-day tasks and questions for your assigned clients.
- Aid peers in building domain expertise and resolving client issues.
- Develop re-usable documentation and training material; leads training sessions.

Organizational Alignment
- Reports to the Autofile Director or one of the Supervisors.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a client support / services capacity
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ShipCompliant, Admin panel and Sovos Filing software
- Excellent time management, decision making, and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Essential Job Functions

- Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- Primary office location - MSP
- Position requires
- mínimal (less than 25%) travel required both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events
