Your role at Clorox:
The Procurement Sr. Analyst position provides support for the Procurement organization as a member of the Procurement Operations team with responsibility for various activities, including: Buying support for indirect purchasing, tools support.

In this role, you will:
The Procurement Sr. Analyst position provides support for the Procurement organization as a member of the Procurement Operations team with responsibility for various activities, including: Buying support for indirect purchasing, tools support (e.g., Coupa, FairMarkit, Scout, Apttus), identification and resolution of issues related to suppliers, sourcing events creation, supplier onboarding.

The role develops, maintains, and optimizes recurring reports and delivers ad-hoc analytic support to assigned Spend Categories in Procurement. The role also develops job aids to document best practices. A continuous improvement mindset is required to drive efficiency and eliminate waste.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently analyze, identify issues, and determine next steps in communications with buyers regarding all tools (Coupa, FairMarkit, Scout, Apttus).- Assist procurement activities in moving forward. Independently analyze and determine source of order/invoice discrepancies in Coupa, and decide and communicate proper resolution to payables team to allow problem transactions to be released for execution.- Engage Procurement Managers (and as needed Suppliers) to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for open issues. Analyze past activity to determine root cause and communicate and implement solutions that avoid same/similar issue reoccurrence.- Analyze historical information to identify and aid in driving continuous process improvement opportunities that minimize future disruptions and drive more efficient practices in the form of job aids. Provide miscellaneous project and analytic support to Procurement.

What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:
- 1 - 2 years relevant work experience with Procurement/Sourcing concepts, processes, systems, and tools.- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (i.e. Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, etc.) or equivalent working experience.

Skills and Abilities- Able to quickly build and maintain effective relationships- Advanced proficiency in English- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills- Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)- Self-starter, ability to work independently, creatively, and efficiently with mínimal direction in an unstructured environment- Collaborative / Teamwork - Enjoys and thrives in an environment that fosters working jointly on projects and decisions. Flexibility to flow to highest priority work.
