We are a fast-growing, US-based company with an international team that is seeking an experienced _**English speaking accounting & bookkeeping**_ professional to join our _**REMOTE**_ team and provide: bookkeeping, periodic reporting, and payroll processing services primarily to our flagship company Learn Land and our three sister companies (Away Land Co, CJ Forestry & Multistate Land Investment).

**What we are looking for**:

- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Maintain accurate financial records for Learn Land, Away Land Co, CJ Forestry & Multistate Land Investment, using QuickBooks
- Periodic reporting on specific lines of business within the company (e.g., profit and loss for VA business)
- Process payroll for our employees and contractors, as well as all the VAs we've placed, using Gusto and Tsheets
- Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciling accounts, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll and accounting
- Collaborate with the management team to develop financial goals and strategies
- Communicate financial information and analysis to non-financial stakeholders
- Assist with special projects as needed

- Wise
- Google Suite
- Slack (messaging platform)
- Asana (or other project / task management tools)
- Requirements:
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper / Accounting
- 5+ years of experience with payroll processing
- Familiarity with the tools and services listed above
- MUST be Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Availability during regular business hours (EST, CST timezone)
- Proven experience as an accounting analyst / bookkeeper in a remote setting
- Able to prioritize and multitask effectively

**Nice to have**
- Real estate experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
- Accounting and bookkeeping experience in a US based company

Pay: $300,000.00 - $450,000.00 per month
