Qontigo is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support the finance department with their day-to-day activities and the Accounts Payable process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Ensure all invoices are reviewed and approved according to internal controls. Prepare weekly payment run.
- Keep track of invoices received and check status. Send weekly reminders to approvers.
- Prepare monthly accruals and GL accounts run rates for monthly reports
- Review and ensure all proper documentation for new vendors are in place
- Respond to a high volume of payment inquiries from employees and external vendors
- Ability to review contracts, leases, invoices, payment histories, and exercise sound judgement in resolving discrepancies with vendors
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Comply with internal controls for the accounts payable process by performing monthly reconciliations
- Assist the core finance team with month-end close activities and audit requests
- Work on ad hoc requests and projects, as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable is required.
- Fluent in English (both verbal and writing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Integrity to manage sensitive information and adhere to internal controls, company policies and guidelines
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with SAP ERP system is highly desired.
