**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
The Accounting Analyst will support the business objectives based on the Controller organization’s scope of responsibility. The major areas of responsibility will include: financial accounting and reporting, including month-end close processes; general ledger account analyses; preparation and posting of journal entries; research, analyses and reporting; internal reporting requests; fulfilling requests related to internal/external audit and other ad hoc analyses and special projects.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE**:

- Month-end procedures, including the preparation and posting of journal entries including:

- General Accounting / Accruals
- Perform tasks ensuring accurate financial and statistical close processes, in conjunction with ALABS, including general ledger account reconciliations and other analyses within established timelines. Direct responsibility will include:

- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ad-hoc entries arising from the month end close review process
- Daily Banking and review review of all accounts, enters wires, void cheques, reconciliation of utility direct debits
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of reports and other information related to internal requests from the division/branches as well as Corporate.
- Ensures compliance with the Company’s financial policies/procedures and other matters related to compliance.
- Other duties as assigned

Required Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

Required Length & Type of Experience:

- 4+ years prior accounting/finance industry experience preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Excel), experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or ERP systems.
- Rental industry experience is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of general accounting matters and IFRS/GAAP.
- Strong “client service” mindset and work well with internal customers as well as external parties.
- Capable of prioritizing responsibilities on a daily basis to meet required deadlines.
- Exhibits customer focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer’s needs, both internal and external.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
