**The Work You'll Do**:
As a Tech Lead, Quality, you will combine strong technical expertise (Senior Level) with emerging leadership skills to guide and develop team members while driving quality initiatives. You will refine QA best practices, mentor direct reports, and contribute to the success of your team and the broader QA organization.
- More specifically, you will:_
- Champion Sovos' values and ensure alignment with the Annual Plan - Thematic Goal.
- Lead and refine QA processes and automation strategies to maintain high-quality standards across products.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Development Leaders, and the QA Principal/Architect to drive best practices in testing, automation, and team alignment.
- Guide and mentor QA team members, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new QA team members.
- Advocate for automation-first development cycles and oversee automation projects.
- Foster collaboration across teams and effectively communicate technical concepts, strategic initiatives, and change management.
- Deliver clear, impactful presentations and adapt communication styles to different audiences and situations.
**What We Need From You**
- 8-12 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members.
- Strong expertise in QA methodologies, automation, and Agile development practices.
- Experience in goal-setting, delegation, and change management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
