Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide development teams in Next.js best practices and modern web development techniques
- Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployment pipelines and infrastructure on the Vercel platform
- Evaluate and implement solutions for complex technical challenges, including SSR, ISR, and edge computing strategies
- Lead technical discovery and planning sessions for new features and improvements

**Requirements**:
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience with React and modern JavaScript
- 3+ years of extensive experience with Next.js, including deep understanding of its core features and latest capabilities
- Proven experience with Vercel deployment, configuration, and platform features
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with serverless architectures and edge computing
- Expertise in TypeScript and modern front-end build tools
- Deep knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Jotai, etc.
- Experience with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS & shadcn UI

Advanced Technical Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of Next.js routing strategies (App Router vs Pages Router
- Experience with Next.js middleware and edge functions
- Knowledge of advanced caching strategies and data fetching patterns
- Familiarity with incremental static regeneration (ISR and static site generation (SSG
- Understanding of React Server Components and streaming patterns - Experience with monitoring and optimization tools in the Vercel ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with using the v0 generative AI tool to speed up development
- Solid knowledge of Linux server administration and bash scripting.
- Experience with NextAuth.js for authentication & authorization.
