As a Country Medical Director for Roche in Denmark, you will play a critical role in ensuring Roche’s scientific independence, upholding medical compliance, and maintaining our commitment to patients and integrity. Collaborating with local, regional, and global networks, you’ll apply your expertise to build partnerships, support healthcare equity, and enhance patient access to innovative solutions. The Opportunity
- Medical and Scientific Compliance: Uphold Roche’s integrity and medical independence as the affiliate’s authority on compliance and business ethics.
- External Partnerships: Represent Roche’s perspectives among partners, building partnerships across industries, patient groups, and governmental agencies.
- Leadership within Affiliate Team and in the broader international network: Guide medical and scientific decisions based on data and patient needs, collaborating with healthcare professionals and internal teams.
- Development Integration: Coordinate local safety, regulatory, and clinical functions to align with global and regional standards and meet local requirements.
- Evidence Generation: Oversee data generation to support patient access, filling evidence gaps and advancing Roche’s portfolio through innovative studies.
- PDG Collaboration: Work closely with clinical operations teams to enhance research capabilities and maintain compliance with local and global standards.
- Medical Information (MI): Ensure accurate, compliant medical information is provided, focusing on customer needs and proactive engagement.
- Patient Safety: Cultivate a culture of pharmacovigilance, ensuring safety standards are met across the product lifecycle and local practices.
- Health Economics / Market Access: Collaborate on health policy and access strategies, focusing on value-based healthcare and long-term patient outcomes.

- You are an effective communicator, able to clearly convey complex medical and scientific information to diverse collaborators.
- You are experienced in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of the regulatory, payer, and healthcare landscape.
- You have knowledge about Roche’s priority therapeutic areas, new treatment innovations, and personalized healthcare advancements.
- You have strong business and financial skill, capable of setting a customer-centric tone that drives value across local and global networks.
- You hold a Medical Degree with board certification preferred; alternatively, a human life science degree with substantial relevant experience may be considered, provided that other employees with a medical degree are accessible within the local medical department.
- You are fluent in Danish and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
