The Role
You will be responsible for:
1. Identifying and evaluating opportunities for implementing automation to improve productivity and quality.
2. Programming and testing of robots.
3. Managing, maintaining, and improving automation systems.
4. Designing, maintaining, and supporting the network infrastructure.
5. Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.
6. Recommending infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements in compliance with IT policy & procedure.
7. Providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting as and when required.
Ideal Profile
You have at least 5 years of experience including solid experience in a similar role within Hospitality, Leisure, Travel, and Industrial.
1. You have working knowledge of SCADA, Ignition, MES, Controls, and Automation.
2. You are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments.
3. You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments.
4. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
5. Total 3-5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
6. Strong experience in developing SCADA/MES application using Ignition platform.
7. Strong experience of Ignition Vision & Perspective modules.
8. Good experience of developing PLC & SCADA applications.
9. Working experience of SQL or any other database.
10. Experience of working with Historian database.
11. Basic knowledge of Python programming.
12. Hands-on experience in network protocols like MQTT, Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, etc.
13. Strong teamwork capabilities, operating in a multi-function environment to collectively improve operations and resolve related issues.
14. Ability to work independently.
15. Willing to travel to onsite as per project requirement.
