Description
Purpose
Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive enterprises in the world, offering premium and luxury passenger cars. In today's automotive industry, there is a high demand to drive forward the digital transformation in order to support processes and provide users with a seamless user experience. As an in-house software provider, MBGSM (Mercedes-Benz Group Services Madrid) is developing together with our internal partners digital products for Mercedes-Benz, supporting the manufacturing processes in our plants.
Examples of digital products:
PRISMA (PRoduction Information System for Manufacturing) is the standard system in powertrain plants of Mercedes-Benz Cars for the systematic acquisition and analysis of machine data in production.
CART (Campaign Request Tool) is a tool which supports and standardizes the process to initiate, approve, and document quality actions by providing a digital workflow and interfaces to neighboring systems.
AVR (Advanced Vendor Recovery) is a tool which allows the user to flexibly automate the claims management workflow and create invoices.
In this position, you will design and develop components for projects like the above mentioned.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Analyse requirements with Business Unit in Germany and translate into technical solutions.
- Design solutions based on micro services, events, and cloud architecture.
- Design, develop, and implement REST and SOA interfaces.
- Design data models based on relational and non-relational databases.
- Continuously optimize application and database operations in terms of performance, stability, and automation.
- Identify bottlenecks and take countermeasures.
- Evaluation of technical feasibility of solutions.
- Provide guidelines to the development team.
- Define the best practices following agile methodology.
- Perform security checks to follow the company security guidelines.
