Position Summary:
In the position of Region Manager you will be ‐‐ Manage distributor and bottler business results in assigned territory. Responsible for the success of the company in territory, accomplished through effective distributor management skills, solid market execution skills, develop strong relationships, and supervise Trade Development Managers (TDM).
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage relationships, business plan, and profitability with the distributors and some customers in the assigned
territory. Responsible for market execution in the territory in traditional and modern.
- Monitor market and/or retailer activity to develop the most cost‐effective strategies to drive volume and profitability
through increased penetration and promotion.
- Develop, manage, and/or maximize partnerships to drive improved performance. Develop, use objective tools,
information, and feedback to establish region, area performance goals and results.
- Develop, negotiate, and ensure the execution of national and regional account strategies for all company products.
Achieve sales, profit and market share objectives for all national, regional accounts, and/or programs.
- Set, communicate, and manage performance expectations. Monitor and appraise employee job results and
performance to develop, counsel or provide corrective action. Provide information, educational opportunities, and
experiential growth opportunities in order to develop TDM staff.
- Train and coach the distributor, bottler sales force to engage them with the Monster brand and objectives. Internally
lead the performance management reviews and development plans, putting in place corrective actions or performance
improvement plans when required.
- Ensure the targeted use of sales tools and programs. Oversee distributors execute designed programs.
Position Requirements:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business, Finance, Marketing or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in sales (retail, wholesaler or distributor sales
environment)
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 3‐5 years of experience in managing people
- Computer Skills Desired: Advance user of Microsoft Office
- Preferred Certifications: N/A
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in English preferred
