The Work You'll Do
The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the quality of products, tools, and services developed by Sovos.
The person in this role must understand problems and proposed solutions, as well as estimate the effort required to test stories.
Communication and teamwork are essential in daily activities, along with the ability to provide support to other team members when needed.
More Specifically, You Will
Analyze and understand software modules being modified and design a test planPerform impact analysis to assess changes in software functionalityWrite test cases to validate software requirementsCreate, use, and maintain regression test suites and plansDevelop and execute test scenariosExecute test cases, both manual and automatedIdentify opportunities for test automationMaintain and enhance automated test scriptsActively participate in team meetingsUnderstand the release process and its impact on the teamWhat We Need From You
Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or relevant experienceEnglish proficiency at an intermediate level (written and verbal)Two years of related work experience in software testingUnderstanding of agile methodology and software development processesKnowledge of relational databasesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlinesWillingness to work from our local office when neededWhat Does Sovos Offer You?
