An ideal client finance specialist is a strategic partner in Valtech's finance team.
This role will perform client finance operations, collections, and reporting in Valtech.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong professional knowledge, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to partner with the business team in a collaborative way.
The Client Finance Specialist will report directly to the team's Manager.
Role responsibilitiesInvoicing clients including processing weekly and monthly billing from time cards and expenses for approval and monthly submission to clientsInterfacing with client and sales team leadership to align on onboarding prospective clients and forecast billingInterfacing with the client to deliver financial reports at varying cadence by the clientCommunicate effectively to clients to resolve invoicing issues timelyAssist finance team in resolving collection issues with the clientDirecting Accounts Receivable in their application of cashMaintain organized files for AR and client contractsSupporting the Client Finance team at an overall organizational level to ensure data accuracy in Sales Force: Rate Cards (bill rates and effective discounting), Payment Terms, Project Details (start/end dates), budget management, etc.We want all new hires to succeed in their roles at Valtech.
