Job Overview
In the Email Campaign Coordinator position, you will play a vital role in facilitating the creation, execution, and strategic enhancement of email and digital initiatives for prominent brands. As an Email Campaign Coordinator, you will collaborate with client representatives and our internal creative teams to gather and structure information, develop and launch email campaigns, oversee web production timelines, resolve issues, and more.
The ideal candidate is a fast learner, exceptionally detail-oriented, and organized, capable of working efficiently and adaptively to meet project demands. This position is based in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketers, developers, designers, project managers, engineers, and analysts.
- Serve as the expert on email campaign and web production processes—distributing, creating, communicating, and implementing best practices to enhance outcomes.
- Construct, test, and launch email campaigns utilizing proprietary tools and systems developed by our teams.
- Organize and manage new digital components for web and email, working closely with Marketing and Engineering departments.
- Set up, configure, and oversee marketing automation initiatives.
- Maintain subscriber and purchaser data, including imports and segmentation, using various tools and databases.
- Deliver a high-volume, high-quality output for leading brands in a dynamic and creative setting.
- Conduct production meetings to plan and prioritize requests, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Propose operational and workflow enhancements to continually refine the in-house production process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather relevant content and assets while managing expectations and timelines.
- Implement testing methodologies, such as A/B testing, to optimize campaigns and initiatives.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in email marketing production, ideally in conjunction with project and account teams.
- Experience in a client-facing or client services role is advantageous.
- Fundamental knowledge of CSS and responsive email design is essential.
- Proficient in HTML, with the ability to assemble emails and troubleshoot issues.
- Understanding of email marketing principles, metrics, tools, technologies, KPIs, and industry best practices, including deliverability and sender reputation.
- Resourceful problem-solver who can quickly gather information and adapt to new or proprietary technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of FreeMarker and other scripting languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is required and will be assessed during the selection process.
