Sovos is a global leader in tax compliance, and we're seeking a skilled Implementation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Implementation Services team, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing client project plans from project kickoff to the transition of either the Client Support or Compliance Services teams.

The Role:

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process.
2. Complete configuration tasks efficiently and accurately.
3. Develop comprehensive Client Procedures documents detailing all configuration specifics and other essential information.
4. Continue providing service activities for clients post-implementation as needed, particularly during peak processing periods.
5. Develop and manage project plans, identify project risks, and proactively resolve project-related issues.
6. Suggest improvements to processes, documentation, tools, reports, etc., to enhance the new customer implementation process.
7. Learn and adhere to implementation processes and procedures.
8. Lead dynamic work sessions with clients to develop technology-based solutions for business challenges.
9. Ensure a smooth, well-documented transition post-implementation.
10. Prepare project plans for assigned tasks, balancing commitments across multiple projects.
11. Provide training to clients as necessary.
12. Understand client business logic, translate requirements into technical specifications, develop customizations, manage the configuration process, and oversee testing through to sign-off.

What We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience in a service-related role.
• Basic knowledge of Sovos product offerings in the relevant market.
• Basic understanding of tax rules and processes in the relevant market.
• Strong time management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with team members, colleagues, and customers.
• Capable of comprehending and communicating complex concepts.
• Ability to concentrate, analyze, and resolve complex problems.
• Proficiency with technology, including phone systems and computer hardware/software applications.
