**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a seasoned Hotel Accounting Manager with a strong background in hotel accounting to oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations for our hotel clients.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of hotel accounting software, such as Maestro and OPERA, as well as Excel. They will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for hotel clients.

The successful candidate will also have strong analytical skills to conduct variance analysis and work closely with hotel management teams to explain financial results.

Additionally, they will be required to ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and hotel industry best practices.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of hotel accounting, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for hotel clients.
  • Conduct variance analysis and work with hotel management to explain financial results.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and hotel industry best practices.
  • Provide financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

**Requirements:*

  • Proven experience as a Controller, preferably with a focus on the hospitality industry, particularly hotels.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel accounting software (e.g., Maestro, OPERA, etc.) and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role within the hotel industry.
