We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Anton Paar TriTec SA. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and services to our customers, including preventative maintenance, calibration, installation, repairs, and training across all product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers via on-site visits, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Instrumentation and Calibration: Perform factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required) and ensure that all instruments are properly calibrated and functioning within specified tolerances.
- Installation and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain complex analytical instruments, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Training and Development: Provide on-site training to customers, ensuring that they are fully equipped to operate and maintain our instruments.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module, including logging all Support Tickets and Service Orders.
- Inventory Management: Take responsibility for personal warehouse/stock, ensuring that all inventory is accurately managed and up-to-date.
- Sales Support: Forward sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
- Professional Development: Attend all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines, ensuring that your skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
- Technical Degree: A technical degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Chemistry, Physics, or another technical discipline is required.
- Communication and Customer Service Skills: Good communication and strong customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Technical Experience: Direct experience in the analytical instruments field is a plus, and a highly motivated individual capable of completing assigned tasks with little to no supervision is required.
- Travel Requirements: This position requires up to 75% travel time, and a valid driver's license and passport are necessary.
