**Job Description**

As a BigCommerce Lead at McFadyen Digital, you will drive the development and management of our BigCommerce-based e-commerce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences.

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in BigCommerce development, including the Stencil framework, BigCommerce APIs, and custom theme/plugin development. Experience with RESTful API development and third-party integrations is also required.

**Responsibilities**

• Lead Development Efforts: Drive the design, development, and deployment of e-commerce solutions using BigCommerce.

• BigCommerce Platform Management: Manage the BigCommerce platform, including customizations, integrations, and third-party applications.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and other team members.

• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in BigCommerce applications.

• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure all developments are thoroughly tested and meet requirements.

About You

You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and marketing teams, to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences.

Your deep expertise in BigCommerce development, including the Stencil framework, BigCommerce APIs, and custom theme/plugin development, is essential for this role.

Additionally, experience with RESTful API development and third-party integrations is required.
