Job Summary:
We are seeking an accounting professional to join our team at the Belo Medical Group, Inc. as an Accounting and Asset Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our fixed assets, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance, and supporting the transition to a new accounting system.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile fixed assets, including the addition of new employees, customers, and vendors to the accounting system.
- Safeguard and issue mobile units to employees, ensuring proper tracking and recording of assets.
- Prepare accountability reports for employees who have resigned, ensuring all assigned assets are accounted for.
- Support Accounts Receivable in recording monthly personal use of company assets in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
- Reconcile employee Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and prepare the final AR summary for resigned employees.
- Obtain AR clearing approval numbers for employee transactions and assist in uploading assets to the Fixed Asset Management (FAM) system.
- Participate in system testing and support, ensuring that fixed asset data is accurately migrated and functioning correctly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with fixed asset management, reconciliation, and accounting principles.
- Previous experience with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) or similar systems is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees, vendors, and the finance team.
- Experience with system migration or parallel testing is a plus.
