We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our Development Department in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities- Manage the business development process through deal closure, ensuring alignment with proposal progress and prioritizing business proposals against investment criteria.
- Work with investors to establish high-level strategic, financial, and operational goals and milestones for new ventures.
- Review investor proposals and approve contract payments and variations within authority limits, acting as a primary contact for contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure deal alignment and progression.
- Lead business portfolios and manage development of commercial agreements, providing analysis in reviewing legal documents.
- Manage negotiation strategy development and execution, preparing and presenting corporate committees and executive briefs.
- Provide administrative direction to Business Development staff, including job performance appraisals and relevant human resources development roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 12 years of experience in business development, finance, or a related field.
- CFA, CMA, PMP, or similar certifications.
- Industry expertise and knowledge of business transaction and venturing activities, including operational or financial carve-out, commercialization, joint venture development and management, project development and execution, valuation, economic/financial modeling, business operations and maintenance, and strategy development and execution.
- Expertise in financial analysis of companies and transaction valuation.
- Focused knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: carve-out divestment, financial re-structuring, or initial public offering (IPO).
- Experience in dealing with local or industry-specific best practices and regulatory and governmental mandates.
- Competitive monthly base salary.
- Monthly overbase of 25% of monthly base salary.
- Benefits supplement of 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years, 30% after 6 years, and 35% after 12 years.
