The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer III to join our team. As a QA Engineer III, you will work closely with our customers and team members to ensure our products and services work in a fully integrated manner as expected by the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify areas of improvement regarding testing concepts and personal gaps, and be proactive in addressing them.
  • Maintain QA Best Practices in high-pressure situations.
  • Create and maintain test plans to ensure all test scenarios are covered.
  • Perform and document results of test runs, both automated and manual, and convey those results to the development team for appropriate resolution.
  • Be regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the module in a product.
  • Be fully involved in sprint planning to help triage and estimate stories.
  • Always include automated tests on each test suite execution.
  • Improve automated tests, including efficiency, and motivate the team to deliver results with the best quality.
  • Ensure automated tests are included on the continuous integration.
  • Ensure the team contributes to automated test stability.
  • Participate in the onboarding process of new hires and assist team members in making decisions.
  • Summarize and communicate acquired knowledge quickly and effectively.
  • Convey complex domain-specific topics, problems, and solutions to a varied audience.
  • Influence other product and tech teams, including Cloud Ops, InfoSec, Architecture, Org Readiness, and User Experience teams.
  • Contribute to other products in the product workflow or lines of business and how they operate.
  • Work collaboratively to meet agreed-upon deadlines on team assignments and commitments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members and respond positively to feedback from team members.
  • Independently handle difficult conversations and recognize when to escalate.
  • Provide clear information about work status and blockers.
  • Encourage others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches when addressing problems and opportunities.
Requirements
  • At least three years of experience working in a software testing environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to combine useful exploratory/Ad-hoc testing with pre-defined test suites.
  • Experience with Python and/or JavaScript.
  • Automation experience with Cypress, Robot Framework, Playwright, K6.
  • Able to perform any type of test cases and complete troubleshooting.
  • Able to work next to a developer to analyze the impact of tasks and expected outputs.
  • Able to analyze/research cross-impact on other products.
  • Remains effective when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment.
