Position Overview
Red Hat Brasil LTDA. is seeking a highly skilled Associate Principal OpenShift Specialist Solution Architect. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your extensive knowledge of containerization, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure technologies to assist clients in maximizing the business benefits of their OpenShift environments.
Your Expertise
We are looking for someone who possesses a strong passion for open source technologies and a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-level business processes and IT challenges. Your ability to identify and develop innovative solutions will be crucial. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will play a vital role in shaping the initial experiences our clients have with Red Hat.
Key Responsibilities
- Present Red Hat OpenShift technologies and solutions to clients and partners, addressing intricate requirements and designing value-driven architectures.
- Develop a profound understanding of customer business and IT landscapes, advocating for their priorities with business teams.
- Facilitate the adoption and utilization of OpenShift in alignment with customer metrics.
- Analyze and comprehend the customer's existing architecture, key performance indicators, workloads, and development environments.
- Maintain a repository of potential OpenShift workloads, leveraging insights gained from previous customer engagements.
- Organize and lead customer events to promote visibility and demand for migrating applications to OpenShift.
- Act as a trusted advisor, mentoring customer development teams in deploying applications on OpenShift and third-party tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales engineering, consulting, or IT architecture within large organizations.
- Expertise in architecting and implementing solutions related to virtualization, storage, and networking.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer success.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux or UNIX operating systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and Kubernetes deployments.
- Understanding of cloud IaaS and PaaS technologies, especially Red Hat OpenShift.
- Knowledge of network protocols and DevOps practices.
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Willingness to travel within the Latin America region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or certification with public cloud providers.
- Red Hat certifications.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies, including OpenShift Virtualization and VMware.
