Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our technical applications. You will work closely with engineers and users from around the world to design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and automate the operations of bare metal and virtual infrastructure.
- Develop infrastructure as code in support of existing infrastructure automation initiatives in an Agile environment.
- Proactively build and implement platforms to enable reliable business capabilities.
- Manage tools for performance monitoring, alerting, capacity, and utilization management, and service recovery.
- Work in close coordination with architects, engineering teams, analysts, and stakeholders in a dynamic environment to translate requirements into end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in platform and systems security reviews (authorization, authentication, security best practices, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree or close to graduating in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
- 2+ years' experience in an Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering role, applying DevOps principles.
- Experience managing Windows environments on physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g., Git), experience with build management and CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Repos & Actions).
- Solid scripting and coding skills oriented to automation and orchestration (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Proficiency in debugging and problem-solving.
- Working experience in an Agile organization.
- Continuous learning mindset.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages.
- Prior experience working with Linux (e.g., installation, configuration, and administration).
- Demonstrable technical skills on backend services including setup, administration, scaling, and monitoring.
- Understanding of network core concepts (e.g., proxy, VLANS, Firewall, IP addressing, ExpressRoute).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM/CloudFormation templates, or similar technologies.
- General knowledge about REST API's best practices.
