Software Testing Engineer with Selenium and Java Experience

Cognizant offers a unique opportunity for experienced QA Automation Engineers to join our dynamic team and contribute to an important international client project.

We are looking for professionals with a strong background in software testing, specifically using Selenium and Core Java. If you have more than 4 years of experience in this field and possess advanced English skills, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of products to ensure they meet quality standards and requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts using Selenium and Core Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform regression testing to verify that existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
  • Utilize Test Planning Hub (TPH) to manage and execute test processes efficiently.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to enhance product quality.
  • Evaluate compliance with industry standards and best practices in the Cards & Payments domain.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • More than 4 years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong technical skills in Selenium and Core Java.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Proficiency in using TPH for test management.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • A relevant certification in software testing or quality assurance.
  • An adaptable and open attitude towards learning new tools and technologies.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • A track record of successfully delivering high-quality products.
  • The ability to mentor and support junior team members.
