The analyst will work in tandem with the terminal IT Manager to manage the backlog of integrated terminal demands effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify improvement opportunities, preparing actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop comprehensive business requirement documents and detailed specifications to guide project implementation.
- Collaborate with management to analyze business issues related to workflow procedures and processes.
- Utilize data analysis skills to work with management in crafting innovative IT solutions that address operational challenges.
- Engage with terminal operational teams to pinpoint and implement enhancements to business operations, leveraging WOW/OS Lean methodologies.
- Partner with regional platform business analysts to explore opportunities for modernizing and standardizing the terminal technology portfolio.
- Provide insights from the frontline to regional and global tech teams, ensuring that terminal constraints are considered during the development of new capabilities.
- Participate in root cause analysis for significant incidents affecting terminal operations, ensuring that effective countermeasures are executed as planned.
- Work alongside the Terminal IT Manager to define and modernize the terminal technology portfolio, focusing on application rationalization.
- Act as the primary IT contact for Shipping Line Customers, collaborating closely with the Terminal Commercial Team to manage various demands, including EDI and customer-facing applications.
Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in data analysis.
- Strong understanding of terminal operating models and credibility with IT and business stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and applying WOW (Lean) standards.
- Proven experience in managing business demands effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluency in English is required.
