The Senior Financial Analyst - Taxation LATAM will be responsible for calculating tax provision and related financial statement disclosures for quarterly reporting, and preparing annual income tax filings for LATAM.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of quarterly tax provision for all entities in Argentina and Paraguay, and tax note disclosures, and coordinating with head office Tax team and external audit firm in quarterly review and year-end audits (25%).
  • Preparation, review of month-end closing tasks related to income tax accounts and VAT filings and analysis in Argentina and Paraguay (15%).
  • Monthly review of automatic income tax withholding calculation in D365 and tax return presentation (10%).
  • Tax audit support, including research on issues raised by auditors and preparation of responses (10%).
  • Documenting the Company's tax related accounting policies in accordance with IFRS and maintenance of tax accounts in coordination with head office Tax Manager (10%).
  • Preparation of year-end tax returns for all entities in Argentina and Paraguay, related instalment analysis (25%).
  • Assist in other special projects, ad hoc reporting requirements and SOX requirements (5%).

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • CPA designation.
  • 3+ years of experience involving the preparation of IFRS tax provisions and returns; Big Four experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS for tax reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws in Argentina and Paraguay.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite user (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Advanced English level is required due to the periodical contact with the corporate team.
