Role Overview
The Quality Assurance Team Supervisor will oversee the QA team, manage client relations, and ensure the successful integration of QA within project frameworks. This role involves leading the analysis of project requirements, communicating functionality to QA team members, and reviewing the development of testing matrices. The supervisor will also need to understand necessary data inputs, execute processes, gather evidence, and accurately identify issues, whether they stem from development defects, undefined functional scenarios, or data discrepancies. Additionally, the supervisor will ensure that customer-provided tracking tools are utilized correctly and that metrics are presented accurately to clients, while facilitating effective communication between QA and development teams.

- Analyze business requirements and user stories.
- Prepare test case matrices, test scripts, and test data.
- Review test cases developed by other QA professionals.
- Evaluate test plans.
- Execute processes and analyze results to identify deviations.
- Conduct testing and track metrics related to testing outcomes.
- Document and monitor bug resolutions.
- Communicate testing findings to clients.
- Possess a basic understanding of coding languages to troubleshoot issues.
- Mentor and coordinate team members effectively.
- Ensure seamless communication between development and QA teams.
- Present QA metrics to clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Desirable knowledge of the financial industry.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
- Technical English proficiency is preferred.
- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Experience with ALM tools or similar.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or related ticketing systems.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence applications.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, RLM, or BitBucket tools.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL ANSI.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- 5+ years of experience with various database engines such as Teradata, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Marts, and Data Lakes.
- Experience with test case automation is a plus.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Autosys, Control-M, or Control Center is advantageous.
- Proven experience in team management.
