About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our quality assurance team at OneSeven Technology (formerly 17 Web Dev). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Test Cases: Create and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures for web, mobile, and AI applications.
  • Research and Implement AI Tools: Identify and implement AI tools that can help the QA team streamline their work, minimize manual repeatable tasks, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with project teams to understand product changes, QA testing requirements, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Task Management and Bug Tracking: Assist in maintaining organized task management, ensuring all bugs are logged and tracked, and identifying, logging, and tracking bugs and other issues.
  • Participate in Testing: Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and system testing.
  • Development Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure proper testing coverage, system reliability, performance, and quality.
  • Test Process Documentation: Document and maintain test processes and procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Test Result Analysis: Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Standards: Maintain quality standards and ensure that all products meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
  • Intermediate English Level: Strong intermediate English language skills are essential.
  • QA Experience: 5+ years of experience working in QA positions.
  • Mentoring and Leadership Skills: Strong mentoring and leadership skills are required.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and solve problems.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with the team and contribute to the company's growth.
  • Research and Accountability: Ability to research and be accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment.
  • Agile Methodology: Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential.
  • Test Automation and Bug Tracking: Experience with test automation platforms, systems, and tools, as well as bug tracking and issue management tools.
  • Source Control and DevOps: Experience with source control systems and DevOps tools is a plus.
  • ISTQB Certificate: Having an ISTQB certificate is a plus.
  • Programming Skills: Ability to write, read, and understand code is a plus.
  • API Testing: Experience with API testing is a plus.
