We are seeking a highly skilled Business Consultant Actuary to join our team at Management Solutions. As a Business Consultant Actuary, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on a range of business and financial matters.
Key Responsibilities- Statistical Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of statistical data to identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for business improvement.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning and data science techniques to forecast business outcomes.
- Trend Modeling: Create and maintain trend models using time series and ARIMA techniques to identify and analyze business trends.
- Simulation Modeling: Develop and implement simulation models using Monte Carlo techniques to test business scenarios and outcomes.
- Model Review and Validation: Review and validate rating and scoring models, RAROC, and risk parameter models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Mathematical Support: Provide mathematical support to the business, including developing algorithms, statistics, and probability models.
- R&D Projects: Participate in research and development projects to identify new business opportunities and improve existing processes.
- Education: Recent graduates or final year students in a relevant field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of modeling techniques, statistical programming languages, and big data tools and platforms.
- Academic Record: Solid academic record, with a strong understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, with experience in programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, and Matlab.
- Postgraduate Studies: Postgraduate studies or specialized courses in Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related field are an asset.
