About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Strategist Senior to join our Strategy team at WPP Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective content and communication strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute content strategies that align with our client's business objectives, including data gathering and enrichment goals.
  • Industry Analysis: Conduct analysis of industry trends, competitive activity, and target audience data to inform content and communication strategies.
  • Content Creation: Create, manage, and adapt editorial strategies that include a range of content types, such as blog posts, social media content, email marketing, and video content.
  • Brief Development: Develop inspirational briefs for stakeholders, facilitating discussions to ensure alignment with strategy and goals.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and analyze the effectiveness of content and communication strategies, using data to optimize performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in content and communication strategy, and make recommendations for new opportunities that could benefit our clients.
  • Consumer Perspective: Bring the consumer perspective into internal processes, ensuring that our content and communication strategies are consumer-centric.
  • Collaboration: Design collaborative working sessions that deliver innovative thinking and drive business results.
Requirements
  • English Language Skills: Excellent English oral and writing skills are mandatory.
  • Academic Background: A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology, or Anthropology) is required.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in Advertising, Content Strategy, CRM Strategy, Comms Planning, Media Planning, or Brand Management is required. Senior experience in account management or creative direction in advertising is also welcome.

  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: High-level interpersonal and communication skills are required.
