Business Development and Partnerships Strategist

At Payoneer Inc., our mission is to empower businesses worldwide to participate in the global economy by simplifying cross-border transactions. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues across the globe, supporting small- and medium-sized business customers and partners in over 190 markets.
We are seeking an ambitious and driven individual to join our Latin America office in Buenos Aires as a Business Development and Partnerships Strategist. This role requires taking ownership to the highest level, quickly learning in a fast-paced environment, and growing new and existing partner accounts through effective executive engagement. The ideal candidate will drive new partnerships, manage an existing portfolio, and handle end-to-end partner management in collaboration with other team members. Working in a dynamic business environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and collaborating with potential partners to drive acquisition and expansion of Payoneer's reach.
In addition to being skilled in both business development and account management, the ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills to create programs and processes to enable channel partnerships to grow at scale. This role reports directly to the regional head of partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Buiding and growing a strong network of partners and affiliates to leverage Payoneer's platform and products; commercial cards, sending and receiving payments
- Discovering new verticals
- Fostering partnerships and relationships that drive client acquisition across various verticals, including Knowledge Based Services, Remote Working, Ecommerce, Fintech, and Advertising
- Contributing strategic depth in driving business analysis and market development activities in the region
- Representing Payoneer at partner events and industry shows
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or engineering
- 5+ years of experience in business development or partnerships
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience in data analysis, deal making, partnerships, managing relationships, and creating new opportunities
- Strategic thinking and independent thought coupled with the ability to drive business end-to-end and execute
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent quantitative skills to quickly and accurately analyze complex information/data to draw conclusions and insights in clear written and oral communications
- Flexibility to travel
Prior experience in Fintech, payments, and foreign exchange is a plus, as is knowledge of growth hacking tactics.
