Sovos is a global leader in tax compliance, and we're seeking a talented Compliance Services Associate to join our team. As a Compliance Services Associate, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day client tax compliance needs, ensuring compliance with applicable taxing authorities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver client services utilizing Sovos' Tax Information Reporting (1099), Affordable Care Act, Sales and Use Tax Reporting, FATCA, Unclaimed Property, and/or Certificate Management software for large and complex clients with unique requirements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable taxing authorities (IRS, State and Local Governments) and client-specified procedures by adhering to internal policies and procedures
  • Identify process improvement and/or standardization opportunities; offers suggestions to build internal efficiencies and reduce risk and lead internal process improvement projects
  • Provide assistance to Compliance Services Associates in building domain expertise and resolving client issues
  • Maintain goals and key measures to ensure progress and alignment with desired business outcomes for clients

  • Excellent time management, decision making, and organizational skills
  • Some experience in a client or customer facing role is preferred
  • Detail oriented and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead and empower teams to achieve individual and operational goals
