We are seeking a Valuation Control Expert to join our team in Buenos Aires. As a key member of the Valuation Control Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the firm's risk portfolios are fairly valued.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of financial markets and strong analytical abilities. Commodities markets and products experience is preferred, but not required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with Traders, CFOs, Market Risk, Product Control, Model Governance, and Quantitative Research to ensure a complete understanding of business issues and the accurate execution of valuation policy
- Partnering with Quantitative Research and Model Review Groups to assess limitations in trading models and implement compensating controls and model limitation adjustments
The ideal candidate will have a critical thinking approach, sound judgement, and ability to challenge constructively. They will also be curious, inclusive, detail-oriented, and always looking to improve.
