About the Role: Balazs seeks a highly skilled Fixed Assets Expert to manage the SAP Investment Management/Project Systems functionality for the Division. This role involves working closely with finance and operations personnel to assist in procuring capital assets, assigning blanket asset budgets, and controlling internal order processes for tracking capital investments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage fixed asset transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing (retirements, transfers, cost adjustments).
- Maintain internal accounting controls consistent with company requirements.
- Monitor and manage the CAPEX workflow process, ensuring CARs are approved and processed on time.
- First-pass review of all CARs submitted to the site, verifying required data and making OPEX vs. CAPEX recommendations.
- Provide reporting to the management team related to capital project budgets, actual spend, and committed amounts.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- 3+ years accounting experience preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP preferred.
- Fixed Asset experience preferred.
