Job Description

Patient-Centered Care

As a Respiratory Therapist at Home Medical Equipment Specialists, you will play a vital role in assessing patients' needs for DME such as oxygen treatment, CPAP/BiPAP devices, ventilators, nebulizers, and other respiratory equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that the equipment performs correctly and satisfies the therapeutic criteria.

Delivering Exceptional Service

You will deliver, install, and set up breathing equipment in patients' homes or specified locations. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and caregivers will be crucial in teaching them the correct use, maintenance, and safety practices for breathing equipment.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving

Working closely with referral sources, you will ensure that our patients have a smooth experience and receive the care they require without delay. Your problem-solving skills will be essential in adapting to fast-paced environments and thinking critically to ensure accurate insurance verification, obtain necessary prior authorizations, and effectively manage patient accounts.
